Wang Weimin, Secretary of the Party Committee of CITS Group and President of CITS Co. Ltd., inspected the Sanya Duty Free Store.
After hearing reports on the operational progress of Sanya Duty Free Store this year and the report on the preparatory work of 2014 Spring Festival Golden Week, Wang Weimin affirmed the work of Sanya Duty Free Store and required those responsible to pay attention to the advertising of the store.
Shortly afterwards, Wang Weimin inspected some counters, talked with the frontline employees and inquired about sales figures. He stressed that the Sanya Duty Free Store has to free its mind and broaden its vision at the same time as working hard. He suggested sending personnel overseas, where the duty-free industry is well developed, for investigation and study, especially into their business models and supply models, in order to introduce more advanced experience and practice. Through learning about their strong points to offsetting its weaknesses, they will improve operations and strengthen the management of Sanya Duty Free Store in order to lay a solid operational and management foundation for the opening of Haitang Bay International Shopping Mall, and promote the development of China’s travel retail industry.
