On September 11, Chairman and General Manager of CITS Wang Weimin visited Guangdong and inspected duty free enterprises in Zhuhai and Shenzhen, accompanied by Vice General Manager of CITS Co., Ltd. Peng Hui and General Manager Assistant Chen Zhixin, aiming at detailed understanding and instructions for the development of local enterprises.
Chairman Wang Weimin and his team conducted on-site survey on four duty free stores in Zhuhai and Shenzhen and talked with the sales team to understand the commodity portfolio, source of customers and sales performance. During the survey, Chairman Wang Weimin expressed acknowledgement and encouragement for the business operation and management measures proposed by the stores, instructing them to adjust and optimize commodity portfolio in a prompt manner, rationally control stock and constantly improve sales performance.
Wang then listened to the work report by CITS Shenzhen, CDFG Shenzhen, CDFG Shenzhen Luohu, Shenzhen Dongmian Duty Free Store and CDFG Zhuhai and positively acknowledged their efforts upon understanding of their recent business performance. Wang Weimin expressed his expectations for the enterprises to consider the next step of development from the perspective of group strategy, closely follow changes in the market, enhance internal horizontal links and diversified expansion while fully satisfying consumers’ needs, hence building a solid foundation for greater success in the future.
During the inspection, Wang Weimin also listened to the work report by CDFG Hong Kong and acquired detailed information about the preparations for duty free projects in Cambodia. He stated that the Cambodia projects were key issues on CITS Group’s going global agenda with the significance of demo project; hence CDFG was expected to plan meticulously and make every arrangement accordingly to facilitate the Cambodia duty free projects, ensuring the opening of Siem Reap project by the end of the year while striving for the opening of Phnom Penh project by the end of next year.
