• CITS President Li Gang Meets with BBCW Global Market President


             Secretary of Party Committee of CITS Group and President of CITS Co., Ltd. Li Gang recently met with BBCW Global Market President Paul Dempsey, Asia Executive President David Weiland and the rest of the delegation, holding talks on the cooperation and authorization of cross-brand thematic exhibition hall in Qingdao project as well as strategic cooperation in China, while exchanging views in depth on the details of cooperation.

    Li Gang expressed his welcome for the visit of Paul Dempsey and his delegation, introducing the main businesses, development strategy and overall development plan of Qingdao Project. He pointed out that CITS was the largest state-owned travel service group in China with the development of new complex project incorporating duty free, tourism and culture as one of its key development strategies in future, and that the consideration for cooperation with BBCW was based on the latter’s entertainment concept, cultural and educational connotation as well as good reputation on the premium and popular markets in China, all of which corresponded with the concept of cultural tourism and premium entertainment advocated by CITS. He was convinced that the cooperation between CITS and BBCW shall be of a win-win nature, jointly enhancing the awareness of both brands on the Chinese and international markets.
    Paul Dempsey said that BBCW attached grate importance to its business expansion in China in the future and was ready to leverage on the Qingdao Project as an opportunity to cooperate with CITS. Currently, the business of BBCW has expanded from a TV company into much broader horizons, focusing on brand building and related entertainment business. Having established numerous partnerships across the world, BBCW expects to become an active partner of CITS as the directions of strategic development of both parties highly correspond. BBCW would be especially interested in the future cooperation model which would allow full play of their respective advantaged for successful projects.
    Both parties also discussed on co-establishment of joint venture and partnership in premium and special travel routes, while reaching consensus on signing the MOU for strategic cooperation in Qingdao Project as early as possible.
