Chairman Wang Weimin and the entourage came to Sanya Duty Free Store firstly, where they visited counters for perfumes & cosmetics, watches, boutique products and bags & cases in the duty free zone and special local products of Hainan in the duty zone, asking about the sales status to deeply look into the competitiveness of prices of duty free products after the baggage delivery taxes paid and latest trends of offshore duty free policy. After listening to the report on recent business circumstances by Sanya Duty Free Store, Chairman Wang Weimin spoke highly of the work of the store.
After that, Chairman Wang Weimin and the entourage came to inspect Haitang Bay International Duty Free Shopping Mall and the construction site of its supporting facilities and logistics base. They also listened to on-the-spot report on the construction progress made by the construction unit China MCC5 Group Corporation Limited. Chairman Wang Weimin fully appraised the overall construction progress of Haitang Bay project and proposed clear requirements on the project construction progress that highlighted construction safety and complete eradication of potential safety hazards by all possible means. Chairman Wang Weimin also pointed out that CITS Investment & Development must control construction quality strictly and accelerate the decoration progress to ensure opening of Haitang Bay International Duty Free Shopping Mall as scheduled.
According to Chairman Wang Weimin, since Haitang Bay International Duty Free Shopping Mall was going to open, CDFG must on one hand control operation & management of Sanya Duty Free Store and on the other ensure steady progress of Haitang Bay International Duty Free Shopping Mall project, by speeding up debugging every facility and equipment and finishing the pre-opening preparations carefully like talents reservation and personnel allocation, in order to ensure smooth opening and operation of Haitang Bay International Duty Free Shopping Mall as planned.
