On March 18, 2013, the CDFG Work Style Formulation & Haitang Bay Project Mobilization Meeting was held. Over 230 people from the top management personnel and the staff of CDFG, and representatives from CDFG’s subsidiaries attended the meeting.
During the meeting, Mr. Peng Hui, President and General Manager of CDFG delivered a speech named “Keep the Mission Goal in Mind and Refine the Work Style to Ensure the Success of Haitang Bay Project”. On behalf of the top management personnel, he put forward to the requirements on the strengthening of work style construction and the priorities of the Haitang Bay project.
Mr. Peng Hui affirmed the achievements and development of CDFG, and gave an in-depth analysis of the current unfavorable situation and the serious problems ahead. He emphasized that there would be more opportunities, but that competition would be fiercer. If they mishandled the situation, they would not seize opportunities, but lose part of the market. He said that facing this situation and these challenges, they should begin with increasing the size of the business, business development, internal management and the work style, and bravely meet the challenges and seize the opportunities with high spirits and full efforts. They have to build up a highly disciplined team with a good work style and courageous spirit. With this spirit, they will overcome any obstacle and achieve success. The purpose of this meeting to formulate their work style was to determine the common goal, in order to achieve better development of the group, and create favorable objective and subjective, internal and external conditions for the opening of Haitang Bay International Shopping Mall ahead of schedule.
During the speech, he also determined the priorities of CDFG: at present, the Haitang Bay project is the strategic priority of CITS Group and CITS Co., Ltd., and it is also the key project concerning the survival and development of CDFG. The CITS Group and CITS Co., Ltd. have invested huge manpower, material and financial resources, so we have to win this tough fight. This will be a test to the ability of the management of CDFG, the responsibility and effectiveness of our team. It also means CDFG will stand at a new higher level to fight for the company’s change from a traditional duty-free operator to an international travel retailer. The project’s success could bring them closer to this objective. It will also help to achieve CDFG’s “12th Five-Year Plan”, and their objective of being the lead travel retailer in China and ranking top five in the world.
The liability statement of Haitang Bay project was also signed in the meeting. Every leader and department related to the project construction signed the statement. The responsibilities in each bit of preparatory work and the completion time nodes were clearly stated. After the signing ceremony, Mr. Jiang Qinghua from Sanya Haitang Bay International Shopping Mall Management Co., Ltd. gave a speech on behalf of the staff of Haitang Bay project.
During the CDFG Work Style Construction & Haitang Bay Project Mobilization Meeting, the priorities and objectives of CDFG in the next stage were determined in order to clearly divide the labor, and integrate internal and external resources. The staff were also encouraged to devote every effort to achieve the opening of Haitang Bay International shopping Mall ahead of schedule.
