Therefore, determining the future development strategy will help to make leaps in the non-duty-free business of CDFG. During the special session held in the conference room on the tenth floor of the Group’s building, Mr. Wang Weimin, Secretary of the Party Committee of CITS Group, listened to the CDFG’s report on the business conditions of CDFG Trading Company, the way that it plans to develop its existing primary business and the company’s business development planning strategy. Mr. Peng Hui, President and General Manager of CDFG, on behalf of the management team of CDFG, reported the results of the research on non-duty-free business development to Mr. Wang Weimin during the CDFG general manager meeting.
After listening to the report, Mr. Wang Weimin affirmed the CDFG’s achievement in the non-duty-free business, and gave in-depth analysis on the market prospects and opportunities in the travel retail industry. He said that the potential market and business space of the travel retail business are huge. The travel retail business is the focus of CITS Group, so we have to concentrate efforts and integrate high quality resources in developing the non-duty-free business, and the whole Group will lend full support to this. When talking about the development strategy of the non-duty-free business, he emphasized that the wider you set your sights, the bigger the stage will be. The priority of CDFG is to solve the problem of positioning, determine the development goals of the non-duty-free business, exploit the market potential and find the breakthrough point of diversified development. They can ensure the flexibility of the system and mechanism through introducing external investors, clearing internal obstacles and ensuring innovation of the system and business mechanism, in order to adapt to the changing market and seize opportunities from the competition.
Mr. Wang Weimin also put forward higher requirements for the operation and management of CDFG’s non-duty-free business. He said that the CDFG Trading Company has to take good control of existing projects, ensure good operational ability, gain more purchase power and improve its marketing, operation and management continuously. At last, he emphasized that in the future, the development of new projects has to be reported to the Group for examination and approval in strict accordance with the examination and approval system before being carried out.
