To further achieve the requirements of centralized financial management and control of China International Travel Service Co. Ltd., to realize a centralized and unified information platform for the China Duty Free Group (CDF), to establish a management system for terminal retail channels, and to meet the requirements of management improvement within CDF, the NC system has been successfully implemented in the headquarters of CDF and four distribution centers, and the promotion efforts for the NC system to be implemented in the subsidiaries was put into full effect in May 2012.
After joint investigations, communications and discussions with the Financial Department and Project Implementation Team, the Information Department set out the promotion and implementation program of the NC system, achieving the unity of financial accounting items, control parameters and common accounting entries of CDF; realizing the synergy of headquarters’ sales orders and outlets’ purchase orders within the Group, the synergy of headquarters’ sales stock-out notes and outlets’ purchase stock-in notes, the synergy of headquarters’ notes receivable, compensation receivable and outlets’ notes payable, claims payable, as well as the synergy of headquarters’ advance collection orders and outlets’ advance payment orders; and achieving document and certificate interface transmission of outlets’ eFuture system and NC system, which reduces repetitive work.
In August 2012, four pilot outlets, namely Heihe Duty Free Co., Ltd. of CDF, Shenzhen Dongmian Duty Free Co., Ltd. of CDF, Shenyang Duty Free Trade Co., Ltd. of CDF and Hangzhou Duty Free Co., Ltd. of CDF, completed the implementation of on-line training. In October, 29 outlets including Guangzhou Xinmian Duty Free Co., Ltd. completed the implementation of on-line training.
During the process of implementing on-line training, all participants gave full play to CDF’s core value of “not afraid of difficulties, professional and efficient, teamwork and innovation”, continued to work overtime to finish large amounts of data collation, data entry and proofreading work, and mastered the system process and operation method within the fastest time to complete the implementation of on-line training as planned.
Through on-line use for nearly two months, the overall system has been running well and has received good feedback from users in the duty free shops.
In 2012, the NC system was put into use in 33 subsidiaries, steadily promoting the collectivization control and intensive management level of CDF to ensure unified management of corporate financial data within the group and the consistency of transactions and exchanges within the group, as well as to gradually realize the comprehensive connection of CDF’s information platforms. At the beginning of 2013, the Information Department and Financial Department will continue to work together to promote the NC system in all duty free shops under CDF so as to make a significant step towards achieving collectivization and realizing a comprehensive, centralized and unified financial business system.
